I had the perfect getaway weekend with Scott. Instead of waking up to people screaming and cars honking, I woke up to the sound of chickens and goats in the background and the fresh New York air I love. I became close friend with a cat who only had one eye. I miss her already.
my mom just called me and told me my dad is divorcing her after 28 years of marriage.
she kept on saying “I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I know I’m not 100% mother and 100% wife. Who is?”
before she hung up she said “I love you”.

saturday we went out to brunch in park slope and had unlimited mimosas plus food for $20 a person!
afterwards we went to the brooklyn museum to check out the judy chicago exhibit.
my favorite meal in the world is brunch. and what is better than brunch in brooklyn? literally, nothing else.
today we went to hope garage off of lormier l street. we decided to order doughnuts and chicken and waffles. it was all very delicious… literally the best chicken and waffles i have ever had!! i also ordered sangria, which was a nice, refreshing drink for such a humid day in the city!
